CANADIAN MOTORCYCLE HALL OF FAME

MCC is proud to be a founding patron of the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame.    In addition, we are the title sponsor of the annual Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Banquet  & Reunion

2010 INDUCTION BANQUET & REUNION Saturday November 6
at the Delta Burnaby Hotel & Conference Centre.

The CIMHMF Mission:

"On behalf of the Canadian motorcycling Community, record and preserve the history and heritage of the motorcycle and motorcycling activity in Canada; and to recognize, honour and celebrate those who have achieved excellence and / or made significant contributions to the well-being and advancement of motorcycling in Canada".

The Hall of Fame is operated by the Canadian International Motorcycle Heritage Museum Foundation (CIMHMF).  The CIMHMF is a charitable foundation, registered with the Canada Revenue Agency, and can issue tax receipts for donations. Your contributions will help fund the operations and build towards a permanent home.

The CIMHMF was founded by Bar and Hedy Hodgson, as a charitable foundation, and originally operated as the Canadian Motorcycle Heritage Museum.

Their vision was to preserve and protect Canadian motorcycle history for the benefit of the motorcycling community.

In 2005, the Hall of Fame was created and added to the operations of the foundation, with the first twelve honourees inducted in May, 2006.

How are Hall of Fame inductees chosen?

Individuals and organizations are nominated only by the public, not by the CIMHMF Board or Selection Committee.

Nominations can be made at any time and will be considered each year.  If not selected, nominations are held on file for five years from the original date of receipt.

Please visit the Hall of Fame website for more information.
